About: Ramiro Parrado

Ramiro Parrado
Ramiro Parrado is currently a student of the PhD Programme in Science and Management of Climate Change at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice. He holds a Master Degree in Economics from the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar with collaboration of the econometrics department of the University of Geneva (Université de Genève) and a Degree in Economics at the Universidad Católica Boliviana. He joined the FEEM Sustainable Development Research Programme in 2006 and also works with the Climate and Impact Policies research team at CMCC. His main research field is economics and climate change impacts and policies; and computable general equilibrium modelling. Currently involved in several European Commission's Sixth Framework Programme integrated projects as Circe, Peseta, Ensembles and IMN. He has been a guest researcher for the Ecological and Environmental Economics Programme held at the The Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics in 2006. In the past he worked in the national statistics institute and the vice-ministry of industry in Bolivia and participated as consultant in different projects related with financial and economic valuation.
